Allow Myself to Introduce... Myself.
Hey everyone, my name is Greg, and since you will (hopefully) be reading my posts this year, I figured I would introduce myself. I'm a sophomore Athletic Training student from a town of about 500 people in Northwest Ohio. In my free time, I enjoy watching/playing football and basketball, and I recently have become addicted to FIFA video games. Another one of my favorite things is going to Goodwill and buying the strangest shirts I can find.
Now I'll let you know why I picked Evansville: I fit in here. There are people here with very similar interests and personalities, and almost everyone on campus is very friendly. I come from a small town where everyone is nice to each other, and Evansville has people that are even more friendly. There's a reason that many students affectionately refer to this place as "Hevansville." I think that if you give it a chance, you will come to love it as much as we do.
In a few weeks, I will be going through Greek Rush Week. This is where students that are not affiliated with a Greek organization are recruited to join one of the many that are available on campus. While I do not intend to join any of them, I will take all of you through my experience, and hopefully give you a little insight as to what to expect if you decide to go Greek when you get to whatever school you choose.
If you have any questions, suggestions, or just want to read some of my shorter, less cohesive thoughts, follow me on Twitter: @Greg_McCullough. You can also email me at email@example.com.
Thanks for checking out my first blog post ever, and keep checking in to see what's going on in my life and in life in general at UE!
